Concept ideation & product positioning
We work with you to sharpen your product concept by clarifying the core value proposition, target use cases and technical requirements that will drive all subsequent design and engineering decisions.
Market & competitive context analysis
Before engineering begins, we conduct a targeted review of the market landscape and competing solutions to ensure your product concept is differentiated, commercially viable and positioned to win.
Product Requirements Document (PRD)
We translate your product vision into a formal, structured PRD. It is the single agreed reference document that defines features, performance parameters, functional requirements and user experience criteria, serving as the development baseline for all parties.
Technology path evaluation & selection
For products where multiple technical approaches are possible, we analyse the trade-offs across candidate solutions and help you select the optimal path before committing to engineering work. This includes weighing performance, cost, supply chain availability and manufacturability.
Engineering & design (mechanical & electrical as applicable)
We provide product design and engineering services aligned with manufacturability from day one. This covers mechanical structure, form factor and electrical integration as required by your product type and complexity.
Proof-of-Concept (POC) model builds
We manage the commissioning of POC models through our China-side partner network - validating the core technical principles of your product at minimal cost and time, and confirming that fundamental design assumptions actually work before progressing to full prototyping.
Functional prototype development
We oversee the development of functional prototypes through vetted manufacturing partners. This involves coordinating iterative builds for comprehensive testing against your performance, reliability and user experience requirements, which progressively closes the gap between concept and final product.
Test plan development
We develop structured test plans to govern prototype validation and certification activities; they define test scope, acceptance criteria and the sequence of validation steps required to reach design freeze.
Design freeze sample production
We coordinate the production of final pre-production samples through our partner factories - samples that closely represent the end product and are suitable for design freeze sign-off, regulatory certification submissions and internal stakeholder review.
Product Development & Prototyping is naturally followed by our Product Risk and Manufacturability Assessment and NPI and Production Launch services as your product progresses towards volume production.
